How did you launch the project?

"After seeing the enthusiasm of our friends, we decided to launch a crowdfunding campaign. In the first 24 hours, we raised 12 thousand euros, and in the following two months we reached 35 thousand. We had already found the factory to be a sample, but we had no idea it was going to be a job."

You immediately had in mind the ethics but also a certain aesthetic. Unfortunately, not all sustainable brands give the right importance to beauty. How come?

"In companies that want to be sustainable, there is a lot of work on research and innovation, but not on style. Today, the designer's role is devalued while it is fundamental for any company that wants to do design and cannot be relegated to some external advice"

The fundamental characteristics of your sneakers?

"They are a true Italian product, made in compliance with those who produce them; with vegan materials obtained from recycling (not plastic, otherwise we return to the starting point!)".

Have you thought about the end of the product life cycle?

"We're discussing an agreement with a company to make the outing material for children's parks, but we still understand how to move."

What have we learned collectively from this 2020?

"Certainly with the pandemic many questions have been taken in people's minds and, from food to shopping, 2020 has given us more awareness in the choices".
