FASHION B.E.S.T.

Under the aegis of responsible fashion WHITE continues its collaboration with Cittadellarte - Fondazione Pistoletto. The special project "A Good Job" zooms in on sustainability with focus on ideas and beauty. The area curated by Chiara Tronville presents a selection of brands that are experimenting with a range of different techniques: from recycling and upcycling, to non-polluting raw materials and above all through a path focusing on traceability and transparency. About the concept of the project, Tronville says: “I have always loved beauty and valued fashion for its artistic and expressive flair. Yet, with the passing of time I have understood that for an industry that uses so many resources in the name of individuality, a more responsible and collective approach is needed. Hence, a few years back, I started to feel the desire to support and tell about the dedication of those who, day after day, work to imbue aesthetics with ethical values, such as zero-waste practices, research and innovation, social impact and circularity. Far from extremism, today I aim to be constructive advocate for change. I strongly believe in sustainability and consider it to be an essential element in any design project. Likewise, I believe that creativity, style, open-mindedness and planning ability remain key factors for the success of each and every brand”
